Flight Delayed 10 Hours, Angry Passenger Hits Copilot

Unexpected incident occurred on IndiGo flight. A passenger was emotional because his flight delayed for a long time, to the point where the co-pilot was hit.

According to NDTV, Tuesday (16/1/2024), the delay occurred on the IndiGo flight Delhi-Goa, India on Sunday (14/1/2024). The Airbus A20N plane was stuck at Indira Gandhi International Airport for more than 10 hours.

The long delay made passenger Sahil Kataria emotional. He then took it out on the plane’s co-pilot, Anup Kumar. In his attack on Kumar, Kataria is said to have jumped over the food service trolley which was supposed to create a barrier between him and the co-pilot. However, he eventually managed to get past her and hit her once before she was dragged away by fellow passengers.

The incident was recorded by a passenger on the plane who was filming the co-pilot announcing the departure delay. Until finally something unexpected happened to Kataria.

The passenger was so emotional that, according to a number of reports, Kataria was said to have rushed from his seat in the last row and managed to hit the co-pilot. However, now he is in the custody of the Delhi Police.

This astonishing video spread on the internet shows an argument between cabin crew and passengers, after Kataria carried out his action.

“You can’t do this… you can’t do this!” shouted the flight attendant hysterically.

“Why can’t I do this? Why can’t I?,” Kataria said.

“If you’re going to fly, fly… if not, open the gates,” he added.

On the other hand, there were also faint voices from other passengers who were also complaining.

“We’ve been stuck here for hours,”. However, it is not clear how long the passengers were stuck on the plane.

What happens on the plane?
The sequence of events leading up to the attack is uncertain, but this is the approximate chronology that is known at this time.

The Airbus A20N, a short-medium range single-aisle jet based on the A-320 model, is scheduled to depart Delhi at 7.40 am. However, bad weather conditions, including thick fog, at IGI Airport caused this flight and dozens of other flights to be delayed.

Indeed, weather conditions in and around the national capital region have been poor for several days with a cold wave and dense fog leading to several daily delays, cancellations and diversions.

However, according to tracking website FlightAware, the IndiGo plane in question finally took off at 5.33pm. This means the delay is almost 10 hours. The flight to Goa International Airport in Dabolim was of normal duration, with the plane landing at 7.58pm, with a flight time of 145 minutes, or about two and a half hours.

What happened to the hitter?
In the end, the plane successfully flew despite the long delay. Unfortunately, after being dragged away from the co-pilot, Kataria was detained by the authorities.

A police case under several sections of the Indian Penal Code has been registered, including ‘voluntarily causing hurt’ and Section 41 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which allows police to make arrests without a warrant. All the articles charged could still be acquitted, said several sources.

Rare White Whale Spotted in Phuket, Tourists Are Amazed

The Omura Whale is a rare and mysterious whale. Luckily, a group of tourists met and captured it!

Reporting from Thaiger on Saturday (13/1), this record was recorded when a group of tourists boarded a chartered boat around the Andaman Sea, from Phuket. Suddenly a pair of milky white whales emerged from the surface of the sea.

Like a graceful dance, this whale appears to swim for just a split second. Then, they disappeared without a trace.

“Wow,” exclaimed the guide, amazed by what he saw.

Meanwhile, the tourists on the ship gasped in shock.

“Oh my God,” they said in turn.

Thon Thamrongnawasawat from ThaiWhales said that this omura whale was the first to be seen there. Immediately, he reported the presence of the omura whale to Thailand’s Department of Marine and Coastal Resources.

“The department immediately began a search for the unusual specimen,” he said.

According to Whale and Dolphin Conservation specialists, the omura whale is an additional neoteric species in the catalog of mammal species. This whale was discovered in 2003 dead, then seen again in 2015 alive.

Omura whales have slender bodies that can grow up to 12 meters long. Weighing up to 44,000, the omura whale’s body is not symmetrical.

This creature is a tropical and warm sea. However, its existence is said to be mysterious because it is very difficult to find. Until now, there is very little data about omura whales.
